Be the guest of Tony, Marino and their families while you relax and enjoy their boutique wines, a 1950’s style lunch around a heritage Nissen Hut, now the home of Nissen Hut Wines.
Over 50 years ago, following World War II the first soldier settlers arrived in Loxton to commence the development of some 8,000 acres of barren farming land. The scheme was settled from 1948 and was the biggest irrigation area in Australia at that time.
Accommodation was in short supply and Nissen Huts were imported from England to house these pioneers.
